Auto Body Technician
We are looking for 1x highly capable, dexterous auto body technician to join our team at Oldbury West Midlands. The auto body technician’s responsibilities include liaising with customers to ascertain their needs, performing restorations and modifications whilst observing safety regulations. You should provide a pleasant, efficient service to customers throughout this process.
To ensure success as an auto body technician, you should be able to operate all pertinent equipment with ease. An outstanding auto body technician will recommend additional services that may be valuable to customers.
Responsibilities:
– Speaking to customers to gauge what work ought to be done.
– Performing diagnostic assessments to ensure that all issues have been detected, and that the customer is willing to have these remedied.
– Wearing safety gear and conducting work in a safe manner.
– Performing cost estimations and clearing these with customers before proceeding with work.
– Restoring vehicles to their original condition, or better, by repairing, replacing, and upgrading features of their exterior.
– Customizing vehicles according to customers’ preferences, as requested.
– Ensuring that each vehicle is roadworthy upon completion of the job.
– Returning vehicles to their owners.
– Checking to see that issues have been resolved to customers’ satisfaction.
– Auto Body Technician Requirements:
– Proven experience as an auto body technician.
– Formal training as an auto body technician will be advantageous.
– Thorough knowledge of relevant safety guidelines.
– Basic arithmetic skills.
– Physically fit with exceptional manual dexterity.
– Observant and meticulous.
– Outstanding customer service skills.
– Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Auto Body Technician Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent qualification (GCSE)
– Certification from a vocational school or trade school is preferred.
– A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
– In-depth knowledge of vehicle body components.
– Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.
– Excellent communication and customer service skills.
– A good understanding of the English language including Speaking and Listening.
Salary: Competitive rate depending on the level of experience.
Hours: Monday – Friday 09:30 – 17:30
Location: Langley Green, Oldbury, West Midlands
Car Mechanical Technician
We are currently seeking 1x experienced and talented Mechanics to join our dynamic team at Oldbury West Midlands. In this position, you will be responsible for constructing, maintaining and repairing all machinery and vehicles. Your duties will include monitoring inventory, inspecting vehicles, and assembling machinery.
To succeed in this role, you should be physically and mentally fit and have a solid knowledge of basic mechanic’s tools, service, and diagnostic equipment. Our ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct regular maintenance on machinery, systems, and automotive vehicles.
– Meet with clients to better understand their concerns and identify the issue.
– Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.
– Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
– Design a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades.
– Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
– Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary.
– Offer consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to machine and vehicle users.
– Perform vehicle assessments and alert clients on issues that will prohibit their vehicles from passing inspection.
Requirements:
